Bhutan is a landlocked mystical land of remote monasteries and spiritual temples. It lies in south Asia at the eastern end of the Himalayas bordered to the north by China and to the south, east, and west by India. Bhutan’s capital and largest city is Thimpu. People traveling to Bhutan mostly visit monasteries and temples, trek the wonderful Himalayas, and admire the beautiful mountainous pastures. For a long time Bhutan has remained inaccessible and mysterious to the outside world. Now the country is open, but the number of visitors allowed is limited. The Bhutan Tour is the ultimate way to view the beauty of Bhutan and explore the traditions & culture of its people.
The Bhutan Tour includes the chance to explore the countryside with massive views of the never-ending Himalayas, Beautiful valleys, waterfalls, wonderful monasteries, beautiful flowers and greenery that will take your heart. Bhutan tours starts from Kathmandu, where we will visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We then fly to Paro. Here in Bhutan we travel to many townships and tour several Dzong temples and other cultural and historical landmarks. The main attractions of Bhutan are Paro Taktsang Lhakhang, Tashichho Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, and Dorchu la pass. We will also visit Thimpu, where we will explore its colorful weekend market and quirky shops, museums and landmarks like the National Memorial Chorten. The best time to visit Bhutan is from September to November, as the rainfall is lower and views are clear. Although it can be wet from March to May, this is still a good time to visit Bhutan as there are plenty of birds around and the wildflowers are out in bloom. We do not recommend visiting Bhutan between June and August, as that is monsoon weather.
