Lobuche peak climbing is an adventurous and exciting trekking peak climbing that let you explore the high snowy places of Khumbu region. There are two peaks, Lobuche east and Lobuche west. Although they are associated by a continuous ridge, there is a sharp gap and distance between two peaks. The true east peak is quite prominent and is reached by downward into a market cut off and climbing steep snow/ice slopes to the top. Lobuche east and west were first climbed by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on April 25, 1984.
The extremes adventure start from Lukla after a short but scenic flight. The trip follows the same trails as Everest base camp trekking route up to Periche and then trek to Dughla till mount Everest base camp for good acclimatization and same way return to Lobuche then Lobuche peak base camp.
This trek offers you with the amazing mountain scenery and high snowcapped mountains like Ama Dablam, Pumori, and Everest and from the summit, we will have the classic Himalayan landscape of many significant Himalayan peaks of Khumbu region, major Himalayan glaciers and alpine lakes of Sagarmatha national park. It has two different summits Lobuche east and Lobuche west. Lobuche east climb is a bit more challenging than other peaks in this area. Lobuche east requires trekking peak permit whereas Lobuche west requires an expedition permit. Lobuche Peak climbing can do any time of the year but from March to May and September to November is the best time of the year.
