Ruby Valley trekking, one of the most stunning and captivating adventure destinations where few trekkers and explorer often ventured around hidden Ruby valley in the shade of towering bulk Ganesh Himal also known as Yangri by the native of the area.

Ruby Valley Trekking areas located in Nepal North Mid-West close to Ganesh-Manaslu and Langtang Himal the region retains its pristine environment and undisturbed by other main flow of trekkers and visitors.

Starting with an interesting drive towards the north-west of Kathmandu and then walking past town and villages into rugged and scenic terrain with constant views of mountains and incredible scenery of surrounding green landscapes, as walk leads into densely forested areas of rhododendron, magnolia, oaks, and pines tree lines.

This is one of the few treks where you will be in complete isolation for some days away from human habitation and villages, in sheer wilderness as walk progress heading towards high ridge and pass to reach the other end of beautiful Ruby valley around Dhading district where our fantastic adventure ends with a drive back to Kathmandu, after a blissful adventure on Ruby Valley Trekking.

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport via respective airlines, where you will be received by our office staff and guide with a warm welcome greeting and then transfer to your hotels in the hub of the city.

After checking into your rooms and getting refreshed join the other groups for a briefing on Ruby Valley Trekking, here our guide provides you with useful important information regarding trek and your stay in Nepal with us.

The evening includes welcome dinner in a nice and authentic Nepalese restaurant with Folk Culture program of Nepal while having your dinner.

    Morning, depart from the hotel for an exciting tour around Kathmandu at places of great interest,  Kathmandu city and its valley steeped with historical and religious monuments temples and monasteries listed as World Heritage Sites.

    After an interesting tour, free preparation for Ruby Valley Trekking next early morning.

      Adventure begins with an overland journey of few hours to North West of Kathmandu valley, as drive leads past Nuwakott and Trisuli town around warmer areas, and then reaching a remote farm village at Bhalche / Thulogaon after driving past Trisuli and Bhetrawati village to reach at Bhalche.

      A nice hill village which is slowly becoming into a town, as motorable road been constructed past few years connecting with Trisuli Bazaar and Betrwati town this will be our overnight stop at Bhalche / Thulogaon in the comfort of the local lodge with an option of camping.

        First day trek starts towards north with glorious views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu range of peaks as walk continues into cooler alpine region, heading past Gumbu and Phikuri Danda ridges walking through few farm villages and cattle grazing fields to reach at Rupchet within lovely rhododendron-oaks and pine trees surrounding, an isolated spot and a summer pastureland of the local village here with overnight camp on a grassy meadow.

          After a wonderful stop at Rupchet and with fresh morning walks as our route leads north, shortly after few hours of good, scenic climb for few hours reaching on top at Singla pass with commanding views of rolling hills and valleys includes Ganesh Himal massive peaks, Manaslu towards west and as far to Langtang Himal towards east.

          After an eye catching panorama walk descend towards the bottom of Singla pass at about 3,240 m for overnight camp.

            An interesting walk this morning to reach at Shertung and Chalis gaon (meaning 40 smaller villages) as walk leads with views of massive Ganesh Himal heading north into a nice and lovely forest surrounding with many cattle herders temporary shelters, a nice grazing areas with short up and downhill walk and then reaching at Shertung, here with nice refreshing stop heading downhill for few hours reaching a lovely village of Chalis Gaon of Tamang people a high hill the tribe of Tibetan origin and Buddhist culture.

              Morning walk leads to a short climb above Tikkas Danda a ridge with spectacular views of Ganesh Himal and Manaslu range of peaks, and then heading downhill with pleasant gradual walk reaching at Tatopani (hot-spring) with time to take a hot bathe to ease the muscles of walking ups and downhill.

              After a refreshing stop at Tatopani walk towards North to reach at Nebar a small farm settlement in the middle of no-where in a perfect wilderness of beautiful forest and views of peaks.

                After a lovely morning in a pristine surrounding heading south west over Timaldanda and to Kapur small farm village with marvelous sceneries of hills and mountains and then reaching at Lapchet, from here few hours of good walk reaching at Lapa-Gaon for the overnight stop with camping around farm fields.

                  Today walk entering around Ruby beautiful valley following the walk past Kachet and Kichet to reach at Rupchet small farm village and walking into lovely woodland with views of Manaslu and Ganesh Himal range of peaks, a nice walk of 5-6 hours reaching at Ri-Gaon for the overnight stop, camping on a school yard or on farm terraces.

                    From here heading south around Dhading district areas towards warmer region as the walk drops altitude every hour passing many scattered farm villages of Kutawa-Arukhet-Bandhan-Cheelang to reach a nice village at Gumdi.

                    From Gumdi a short uphill to Dhangarchol at 1,403 m high with fabulous views of snow-clad peaks and then descend to Phulkharka after a small place of Tinkune.

                    On reaching Phulkhraka with overnight camp, offering wonderful views of the nice surrounding of hills and valley with the scenery of distant mountain range.  

                      An interesting today heading further down south to warmer areas of rice terraces and paddy fields, walking towards Dansing village and then to Su Bhanjyang heading south to Ekle and then reaching a large well maintained village of Hatiyakot.

                      From here walk to Chissapani with downhill to Ankhu Khola (stream) and climb over Jyamrung Danda ridge with short descend to reach our overnight camp at Chap Bhanjyang.

                        After a wonderful overnight stop at Chap Bhanjyang with grand views of mountain and rolling green hills, our last day walk of this fabulous adventure leads to more warmer areas as the vegetation changes from alpine to semi-tropical passing many scattered farm villages of Gola and Murli Bhanjyang area to reach large town at Dhading Besi for last overnight on the foot hills of Ganesh Himal area, overnight stop in tourist standard hotels with last farewell dinner among staff and porters.

                          From Dhading town morning drive leads on to cross a bridge over Trisuli River at Maleku and continue the journey on a good old busy highway to Kathmandu, and then transfer to your respective hotels with the free afternoon for individual activities.

                            Your last day in Nepal, country of Himalayan wonders and as per your international flight time depart for homeward bound or to next respective connecting destinations.

                              • We give you a free duffel bag, trekking cap, maps, and t-shirt during your pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu. The duffel bag will be used to pack your trekking supplies.
                              • For every two participants, we assign one porter. The porter will carry the duffel bag, which should weigh around 10 kg/22 lbs., throughout the walk.
                              • Daypack bag for daily used stuff like cash, documents, papers, a water bottle or bladder, a camera, toiletries, sunscreen, a notebook, clothing, etc. (with a waterproof cover).
                              • You can store your luggage (on-trekking items) at the hotel in Kathmandu, and we can assist and help.
                              • Total luggage for the Kathmandu-Lukla flight is (15 kg (33 lbs.), including duffel (10 Kg/22 lbs.) and backpack (5 kg/11 lbs.)
                              • A down jacket with a hood (cap) to be warm in altitudes above 3,000m.
                              • We can provide a down jacket for USD 35. In case of loss or damage, you need to pay back the cost of USD 200 per item.
